Fellowship Job Description Leader: Tywllah Schauer FELLOWSHIP COMMITTEE
JOB DESCRIPTION
This committee should consist of at least three people who would be given specific responsibilities from those listed below:
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Securing and scheduling Sanctuary greeters for Sunday Worship Services at least one month in advance.
a. Distribute detailed instructions to greeters and review procedures with them.
b. Give list of greeters to Church office (they will take care of it).
2. Monthly Family Night Potlucks
a. Secure and schedule hosts for the Potlucks and post list on office bulletin board.
b. Distribute detailed instructions to hosts and review procedures with them.
c. Serve as Master of Ceremonies
1) Call upon Pastor for Blessing prior to meal
2) Invite people to buffet by table number, by flipping a coin or by some other means
3) Following the meal:
a) Thank hosts by name
b) Recognize those having birthdays or wedding anniversaries during the month and sing appropriate songs.
c) Make announcements if any
d) Introduce program
e) Thank program participants at program conclusion
f) Call upon Pastor for Closing Prayer
g) Write letter of thanks to program participants, particularly if they are not from our church family.
3. Securing and scheduling hosts for the Fellowship time following special Sunday Evening Worship Services.
4. Organize, setup and providing the meal for the Annual Congregational/Corporation meeting
5. Attend all Stated and Called Session Meetings.
